What is a bed cleaning service Malaysia?
A bed cleaning service Malaysia is professional mattress cleaning performed on-site at your home. Rather than just wiping the surface, the service cleans the mattress fabric, padding, and surface from the inside out.
The process uses a professional hot water extraction machine, the same technology used to clean office carpet. It injects a warm cleaning solution into the mattress fabric under controlled pressure, then immediately pulls it back out, taking embedded dust mites, their allergen waste, bacteria, skin cells, and soiling with it. Since the machine reaches several centimetres into the mattress material, it goes well beyond what any home vacuum can access.
This is not a mattress replacement, nor is it a surface spray. Think of it as a deep clean of the existing mattress, performed where it sits on your bed frame.
Bed cleaning service Malaysia: what is included
Every Antz Services bed cleaning session covers the following.
Pre-vacuum
Before applying any cleaning solution, we vacuum the full mattress surface with an upholstery attachment to remove loose surface material first.
Stain pre-treatment
Visible stains, sweat yellowing, urine marks, and general soiling get targeted pre-treatment with appropriate solutions before the main extraction pass.
Hot water extraction
Our extraction machine then cleans within the mattress fabric, removing dust mites, allergens, bacteria, and embedded soiling from inside the material. This is the core of the bed cleaning service.
Deodourising treatment
Every session also includes deodourising treatment to neutralise odour compounds from sweat, body oils, and accumulated use that have built up inside the fabric.
Both sides cleaned
We flip the mattress and treat the underside as well, which matters for Malaysian beds where flat bases trap moisture underneath.
Final check
Before leaving, our team inspects the mattress, and any area that needs a second pass gets retreated on the spot.

Why bed cleaning is important in Malaysia
Because Malaysia’s year-round humidity runs 70 to 90 percent and temperatures stay between 26°C and 32°C, dust mite populations grow continuously inside mattress fabric with no seasonal slowdown. A mattress without regular professional cleaning accumulates millions of dust mites and their allergen waste within months.
For households where family members experience morning sneezing, blocked nose, itchy eyes, or skin rash, especially symptoms that improve after leaving home, dust mites in the mattress are often the primary cause. When professional extraction clears the allergen load, most affected family members notice improvement within the first week after a thorough clean.
For more on dust mites and how to identify whether they are affecting your household, see our dust mites vs bed bugs Malaysia guide →. For mattress mould, a separate but related problem, see our mattress mould Malaysia guide →.
How often should you book a bed cleaning service in Malaysia?
Every 6 months suits most Malaysian households. The continuous dust mite breeding conditions mean that annual cleaning alone is not enough for daily-use mattresses.
Every 3 to 4 months is more appropriate for households with young children, indoor pets, or family members with asthma or dust mite allergies.
Immediately when persistent odour returns within days of home treatment, when allergy symptoms are worsening in the bedroom, or when visible mould or staining has developed.

Frequently asked questions
What is a bed cleaning service Malaysia?
A bed cleaning service Malaysia is professional mattress cleaning: an on-site service where a trained technician cleans your mattress in place using hot water extraction, removing dust mites, allergens, bacteria, stains, and odour from within the fabric. At Antz Services, it starts from RM80 per mattress.
Is bed cleaning the same as mattress cleaning?
Yes. Both terms describe the same service: professional extraction cleaning of your mattress performed at your home. “Bed cleaning” and “mattress cleaning” are used interchangeably by most Malaysian households.
How much does bed cleaning cost in Malaysia?
At Antz Services, the bed cleaning service Malaysia price starts from RM80 for single/super single, RM100 for queen, and RM120 for king. Pillows and bolsters are RM10 per unit as add-ons. No transportation charges apply across 62+ areas in KL and Selangor.
Do I need to remove my mattress from the bed?
No. Our team cleans your mattress in place on the bed frame, including flipping it to clean the underside. You do not need to prepare anything before the team arrives.
How long does the bed cleaning service take?
One mattress takes 20 to 30 minutes. A full 3-bedroom home with 3 to 4 mattresses takes 1 to 1.5 hours. Since drying takes 2 to 4 hours, most customers sleep on their cleaned mattress the same night.
Is there anything left on the mattress after cleaning?
No residue remains once dry. The extraction process pulls the cleaning solution back out of the mattress fabric immediately after injection, so nothing sits in the material. The mattress feels clean and dry within a few hours.
